Professional Accomplishments

Emily first began volunteering with SOAR365 as a teenager. She enjoyed the experience so much that she went on to become a licensed special education teacher. Recently, Emily was featured in Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 for 2022 and was also accepted into Leadership Metro Richmond’s Leadership Quest Class of 2023. Emily was also an ICONS Young Professional Innovator Runner Up in 2019 and participated in the National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities in 2018.

Fun Fact

Emily loves to explore Richmond through running or biking and calls the Capital Trail her “home away from home.” She’s also an avid reader.
