SOAR365 Adult Programs Support Volunteer
For many years, Mary Pasco has supported SOAR365 as a donor and advocate. As she considered options for deepening her relationship with the organization even further, volunteering seemed like the logical next step. “I took a tour of the Saunders facility in May and decided I’d like to assist in any way possible. I’m incredibly impressed with the caring, giving, and attentive staff – they are obviously loved by the participants.” Soon after her tour, Mary applied as a volunteer and by mid-August, she was ready to begin providing weekly assistance with the Adult Day Program.

“I was drawn to the SOAR365 adult program because of the ability to interact with people on a more personal and in-depth level. I generally spend one-on-one time with the participants – playing games, reading, and working on crafts (making bracelets and necklaces is a very popular activity!). I look forward to Thursday afternoons and love the joy and happiness I see on the many faces at SOAR365. I always leave with an uplifted heart and a sense of well-being and gratitude.”
