SOAR365 has once again been named an Active RVA-certified organization, marking the sixth consecutive year of earning the distinction. Sports Backers announced the 2026 honorees at its annual awards celebration, held on Tuesday, March 3 at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. This year, SOAR365 was one of just 38 organizations across the region to receive the certification.
The Active RVA Certification and Awards program recognizes Richmond-region employers and schools that are leading the way in promoting physical activity and overall wellness. Each year, select organizations earn the certification for creating cultures that encourage active living and prioritizing employee wellbeing.
In 2025, SOAR365 continued to emphasize both mental and physical health for employees across all locations. As a proud community partner of the River City Half Marathon & 5K, the organization once again supported and participated in the event, alongside other community races and initiatives such as the Markel Corporate Run and the Sports Backers Tacky Light Run.
SOAR365 expanded its focus on preventative care by hosting an on-site flu shot clinic in partnership with Qwark Health, making it easier for employees to protect themselves and their families during flu season.
To strengthen communication around healthy habits, the Wellness Committee increased outreach through new messaging in the internal Insider newsletter and on newly installed digital signage at all SOAR365 locations. These efforts provided consistent reminders and practical tips about Wellness Committee initiatives.
This continued recognition reinforces SOAR365โs commitment to fostering a workplace culture where employees feel supported in every aspect of their wellbeing. By investing in health-focused initiatives and encouraging active lifestyles, SOAR365 remains dedicated to being an employer of choice in the Richmond region.
