The NGC works to support SOAR365’s mission of providing life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, and we all have our own reasons for joining the NGC. Mine is because I love the mission of the organization, and I wanted to help make an impact in the community where I live and work.
Through leadership development, volunteer opportunities, engagement and fundraising, NGC members have the ability to grow professionally. We participate in volunteer opportunities like beautification projects at Camp Baker and PARK365, we volunteer at events like the Ladybug Fund Winetasting and Silent Auction, and we volunteer with participants at the awards banquet. Our annual leadership conference gives members the opportunity to learn from other professionals about the many facets of being an effective leader. These activities, and so much more, are just a few of the reasons why I have found NGC to be such a rewarding experience.
Interested in learning more? Come out and meet other members of NGC on October 26th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Brambly Park for our new member social. We hope to see you there!
