Across its Business Advisory, Finance & Accounting, Human Capital, Sales Advisory, and Executive Search & Recruiting practices, Fahrenheit Advisors helps organizations address a range of challenges. As a business partner, Fahrenheit has established professional connections with SOAR365 through a variety of projects. Recently Fahrenheit’s Community Impact Committee decided to explore another aspect of its relationship with SOAR365 by volunteering to stain wood surfaces and spread mulch at PARK365 – on one of the hottest days of the year!
Christian Munson, Fahrenheit’s Marketing and Communications Director, is clear about his company’s commitment to bringing people together and serving the community.
“Community is one of our guiding principles,” he said. “Volunteering with SOAR365 put this principle into action. Our group got together in the PARK365 setting to work as a team and express this commitment. We want to have an impact beyond succeeding in business, and our volunteers saw the difference they can make through this direct, on-the-ground connection.”
Tiffany McCarthy, Marketing and Communications Project Manager, said her eyes were opened to the unique need of families to play easily and safely. “PARK365 offers a free inclusive playground from dawn to dusk for children and adults with or without disabilities,” she said. “It was fun to be in that magical space with the families and friends using the park and the amazing SOAR365 team.”
Fahrenheit’s Chief People and Culture Officer, Jennifer Stern, served as the logistics coordinator for the PARK365 volunteer effort. “Our people felt a real sense of community as they were staining and mulching,” she said. “This was truly a hands-on activity, and it built a sense of community within Fahrenheit’s group as well as with the larger community.”
In addition to volunteering with SOAR365, Fahrenheit employees have chosen to partner with Special Olympics, another organization serving individuals with disabilities. “Our Community Impact Committee meets monthly to discuss organizations that we would like to support in the community,” she said. “The day with SOAR365 was a really positive experience, and it made an impact on all our volunteers.”
