SOAR365 is proud to be a charity partner of the 2025 Virginia Credit Union River City Half Marathon & 5K.
Scheduled for the morning of Saturday, March 8 at the University of Richmond, the River City Half returns once again to provide a unique and beautiful race day experience, inclusive of all people and abilities.
As a charity partner, anyone who registers to participate in the race can learn more about, and even donate to, SOAR365 directly as part of the registration process. Staff and volunteers from SOAR365 will also be present on race day to hand out water on the course and operate an information booth at the post-race party.

This race is a chance to celebrate Richmond beyond the downtown city streets. Watch nature wake from its winter slumber and take in the early signs of spring in Virginia as you run over and along the James River, through well-established neighborhoods and outdoor gems like Pony Pasture, and start and finish on the gorgeous campus of the University of Richmond.
You’ll not only accomplish a personal goal but will also support Sports Backers’ nonprofit goal of building a vibrant community!
