RICHMOND, Va. – SOAR365 has been named a Virginia Public Relations Award winner for its 2023 website redesign by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the organization announced on May 30. 

Each year, PRSA Richmond recognizes outstanding public relations professionals and their work at the Virginia Public Relations Awards, with this year being the 77th iteration. The chapter’s awards program recognizes the most creative and effective communications strategies and tactics happening across Virginia. 

For an organization that prides itself on being best-in-class in the accessibility landscape, it was determined that soar365.org was no longer meeting its rigorous standards.  

That is why, in 2023, SOAR365 redesigned its website with the goal of making it more modern, accessible, and easy to navigate. Done entirely in-house, the redesign harnessed the skills and creativity of SOAR365 staff, successfully revitalizing soar365.org to enhance accessibility, engagement, and user experience all while amplifying the organization’s impact. 

Creative Manager Kelly Noles and Content Writer Kristal Seaford attended PRSA’s celebration at the Institute of Contemporary Art at VCU to accept the award.

This marks the third consecutive year that SOAR365 has earned at least one Virginia Public Relations Award.  

The organization has also earned awards for The Update Newsletter (2022), National Disability Employment Awareness Month campaign (2022), Annual Report (2022 & 2023), SummerFest (2023) and the Ladybug Fund Winetasting & Silent Auction (2023).
