This marks the second year in a row that SOAR365 has received this honor.
Once again, SOAR365 rose to the top! We’re proud to announce that SOAR365 was selected as a Top Workplace in Richmond for the second year in a row.
This honor is based on employee responses to an in-depth survey conducted by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and their partner agency, Energage. Those responses were compared to other local employers and SOAR365 excelled. Only 102 companies made this year’s list.
But the work isn’t done. John Walker, President and CEO of SOAR365, explains that the organization is continuously striving to improve and be an employer-of-choice. “We are evolving our hiring practices, elevating our employee training and recognition efforts, and ensuring that our compensation and benefits are competitive,” says John.
It’s all part of a broader vision for the organization. To better serve children and adults with disabilities, SOAR365 is known for hiring staff that are knowledgeable, kind, encouraging and hardworking. “Being a top workplace helps us recruit and retain the best team possible for SOAR365, which is critically important in our quest to be best-in-class in everything that we do,” John explains.
Whether SOAR365 is offering fun and educational programming or providing business clients with award-winning results, employee expertise is essential, and so is community support. Employees work side-by-side with dedicated volunteers, and donors and community partners make SOAR365 a positive, welcoming place. One where both participants and employees can grow.
“None of this would be possible without our entire team: our staff, volunteers, donors and community partners. Our work takes a team, and it is because of our great team that SOAR365 is receiving this honor,” says John.
