Learn more about two of our Supported Employment participants: Nathan & Sarah

Nathan is currently working at Food Lion, where he has been learning new skills in inventory management, organization and customer service while on shift. We’re so proud of Nathan, and we also want to congratulate him on winning the silver medal in golf at the Special Olympics!

Sarah is a former Business Solutions employee. After gaining career skills in Assembly & Logistics, Sarah is now ready to explore jobs outside of SOAR365. Leeanne, one of our employment specialists, helped her identify her interests. At the top of the list? Books! Leeanne found Sarah a great opportunity to learn more about working at a bookstore at Books, Beads & More in Mechanicsville. She’s currently working on sorting books and understanding pricing structures.
