SOAR365 is excited to welcome Dean Browell, PhD as the newest member of its Board of Directors. A longtime volunteer and advocate, Dean brings deep engagement with SOAR365’s mission, along with professional expertise in research, leadership development, and community connection that will support the organization’s continued growth and impact.
“After a decade of being a supporter, fan, and volunteer, it’s an honor to help advise and lead such a crucial and incredible organization,” Dean says. “SOAR365 is a gold standard for serving those with disabilities and their families with tremendous resources and unflinching dignity and support.”
After graduating from Randolph-Macon College, Dean earned both an MBA and a PhD, where he developed a strong interest in generational dynamics — a focus that later became central to his professional career. He went on to found Feedback, a Richmond-based consumer research firm dedicated to listening to communities, understanding decision-making behaviors, and helping organizations make more informed choices.
Dean’s passion for advocacy and amplifying underrepresented voices has guided his volunteer work throughout the Richmond community. His service has included contributions to The Poe Museum, Firehouse Theatre, the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), the Institute on Philanthropy (IOP), and numerous other organizations.
“I have known Dean for years and have seen his passion for SOAR365 firsthand through his service on committees such as the Next Generation Council and the Ladybug Fund,” says Board Chair Tom Cricchi. “His experience as an entrepreneur and Chief Behavior Officer, combined with his innovative social media research focused on understanding and advocating for diverse populations, will bring a valuable new perspective to our Board.”
SOAR365 also welcomed Keyanna Conner, Sid Martin, Robert F. Redmond, Jr., and Mark Tripodi to the Board of Directors on July 1, 2025. During this leadership transition, Tom Cricchi stepped into the Board Chair role while Rohana Meade became Vice Chair.
SOAR365 looks forward to Dean’s leadership as the organization continues expanding opportunities and support for individuals with disabilities and their families.
