Work with peace of mind.
SOAR365 Youth Services is a skill-building program for young people with disabilities that’s filled with joy. Yellow buses can be seen pulling up to SOAR365 five days a week after school. Inside are excited Youth Services participants who can’t wait to see their friends. And when schools are closed for holidays or breaks, we’re open, offering a full day of activities. Families love having a program they can count on and a place their child loves to go. But we offer so much more. We know each participant is unique, and we get to know their interests, strengths, likes and dislikes. Our direct support professionals (DSPs) then offer personalized activities and supports to help them meet their goals. After a full day of school, we know learning has to be fun and engaging. That’s why we emphasize personal choice. Youth Services participants have a say in which activities they do each day, and they even help with planning! This gives them a sense of pride, ownership, and self-confidence. Project-based lessons like making ice cream can teach shopping, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, art, science, math, and more. Youth Services participants also love to explore their community. You might find them cheering at sporting events, enjoying local parks, and visiting museums around town. These outings provide plenty of opportunities for discovering new things and practicing new skills. While we’re having a good time, we’re making sure each participant is on track to meet their educational, social, emotional and developmental goals.
