Camp Baker is full of fun activities to choose from, and our counselors listen to each participant’s likes and dislikes. Staff members have a positive understanding of disability. They celebrate each camper for being exactly who they are.

Our counselors come from all over the world! We hire both locally and internationally. This means campers get to meet people from a variety of cultures and diverse backgrounds.

Many of our counselors are also training in disability-related fields. They’re excited to put what they’ve learned into practice as they get to know each camper.

All of our counselors go through an extensive, two-week SOAR365 training process before working at Summer Camp. They learn to help with a variety of activities of daily living, including feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, medication management and mobility.
