SOAR365 Once Again Named Top Workplace by Richmond Times-Dispatch

SOAR365 has now received the honor for a fourth consecutive year.

RICHMOND, Va. – SOAR365 has been named a Top Workplace in the Greater Richmond area for the fourth consecutive year, maintaining the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice in our community.

The award is based on employee responses to an in-depth survey conducted by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and their partner agency, Energage. The responses were then compared to other local employers, proving once again that SOAR365 is amongst the very best places to work in Richmond.

“We are committed to providing a best-in-class work environment for our employees and this recognition reaffirms that commitment,” says John Walker, President and CEO of SOAR365. “We will always strive to be the most respected, and largest, disability services organization in Central Virginia.”

Over the past year, SOAR365 has made significant investments in enhancing the employee experience. The employee handbook was updated to provide clearer guidance and resources in an accessible layout, the number of professional development courses available to employees was expanded, and the central Intranet hub was redesigned to keep employees better informed and engaged. Additionally, significant improvements were made to the annual Employee Performance Review process to ensure more meaningful feedback and growth opportunities.

Whether SOAR365 is offering impactful programming or providing business clients with award-winning results, employee expertise is essential, and so is community support. Our staff work side-by-side with dedicated volunteers, donors and community partners to make SOAR365 a positive, welcoming place.

“Everything we’ve achieved over the last four years has only been possible because of our staff, volunteers, donors and community partners. Reaching our goals requires a true team effort, and it is because of our great team that SOAR365 has found success,” concluded Walker.

As a result of making the list, SOAR365 was one of just 91 companies and organizations recognized at a celebration held at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on May 11th. A full list of this year’s honorees can be found here
