Join us for one of Richmond’s favorite events, the Ladybug Fund Winetasting & Silent Auction
The Ladybug Fund Winetasting & Silent Auction is once again a springtime social event! Join us on Saturday, April 22 from 6-10 pm.
Enjoy the warmer weather with a stroll in PARK365 under the stars, or head indoors to enjoy live jazz music and delicious food from David Napier’s White House Catering. Curious about our programs for people with disabilities? Explore our Saunders headquarters as you sip and savor, to learn more about how your donation changes lives.
There will be wines from Italy, Spain and the United States for the tasting, paired with culinary delights. We’ll also feature craft beer from Midnight Brewery. And don’t forget about our highly anticipated silent auction, which will feature great summer getaways, one-of-a-kind dinner parties, fine art, sporting fun and, of course, wine packages.
“We are so excited to be hosting the Ladybug Fund Winetasting and Silent Auction in the spring again! It’s a nice time of the year, and people really like to come out and support this great cause,” say Shannon and Hank Carter, Ladybug Co-Chairs.
Sunny days offer hope and new beginnings, and you can help spread that hope, too. Proceeds from the Ladybug Fund Winetasting & Silent Auction fund SOAR365 programs for children and youth.
“Our goal is to raise $170,000 to support children and youth in SOAR365 programs. We are grateful for our generous sponsors who are helping to make this special evening a great success,” say Shannon and Hank.
We’re also so thankful for our wonderful volunteers whose hard work and dedication make this evening possible. “Over 100 volunteers will have given their time to make the Ladybug Fund Winetasting one of Richmonders’ favorite events,” says Michelle Thomson, Vice President of Community Engagement.
Don’t miss out on the chance to have a lot of fun while doing a world of good. Reserve your tickets today by visiting https://e.givesmart.com/events/tOL/

Did you know? The Ladybug Fund was founded in 2001 by parents who saw a need for additional funding for these essential programs. They knew firsthand how much SOAR365 meant to parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. In fact, the event is named after a special girl named Liddy, whose grandmother called her “Liddybug.”
Please note that PARK365 will close at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 to prepare for the Ladybug Fund Winetasting & Silent Auction.
