SOAR365 Administrative & Direct Service Interns
SOAR365 is very excited to introduce our spring line-up of student interns, who will be supporting our administrative teams and direct services this semester in a variety of ways!
Aljane Caragos – Aljane (pictured), a Brightpoint student majoring in Mass Communications, will be creating this year’s Volunteer Impact Video and working on some other videography projects.
Josias Collier – Josias, a first-year Bonner Scholar majoring in pre-med Biology, will support some of the administrative functions of the Facilities/Maintenance department.
Ian DeBoeser – Ian is a Music Therapy student enrolled in Shenandoah University’s Professional Studies Program and will be facilitating program activities under the supervision of Healing Sounds RVA.
Katherine Hudgins – Katherine, a Brightpoint student studying Human Services with a pre-social work specialization, will be completing 100 hours with the Adult Program for academic credit.
Morgan Mauck – Morgan is a doctoral student in the School of Occupational Therapy at Shenandoah University, completing her 14-week Doctoral Capstone Experience with the Children & Youth Program. Her project will focus on the development and implementation of a skills-based cooking curriculum.
Emmanuella Nettey – Emmanuella, a junior pursuing a Health Science major, will be completing a 120-hour academic internship facilitating wellness activities with the Adult Program.
Charlotte Read – Charlotte (pictured), a University of Richmond student majoring in Business Administration, will be assisting our Human Resources Department.
Kala Saliu – Kala, also a first-year Bonner Scholar whose major is Business Administration & Marketing, will work with the Adult Program participants.
Janani Sathish – Janani (pictured), a VCU student majoring in Marketing, will help manage our social media strategies.
Ally Schumacher – Ally (pictured), a student at VA Tech with a history major and a disability studies minor, will be working on projects that support our Compliance & Quality strategies.
Kyera Watkins – Kyera, a junior at VCU who is majoring in Psychology and Autism Studies, will be conducting research on best practices for children and youth ages 5-10.
